Do I need to know how to code?
No! I don't know how to code either. I'll show you how to use AI to help you make things.
Do I need paid AI software?
Not to use the ready-made Makers. Some more advanced custom projects may need a paid AI tool, such as Claude Code, and I'll explain the options when we use them.
What kind of computer do I need?
For the Makers, any computer is fine: a Chromebook, Mac, Windows laptop, iPad or even your phone. They all work in your web browser.
For making your own things, you can use a Chromebook too. You just can't download and install the Claude Code app, so you use the web version of Claude Code instead. You'll also set up a free GitHub account. It isn't as complicated as it sounds! It's simply where your projects are saved, so they're there whenever you come back to work on them.
On a Mac or Windows computer you can use the Claude Code app, which is what I use in the Build-Alongs.
Do I need a website?
No. Many of the Makers give you a link you can share. Some projects can also go on your website.
What if I'm not very technical?
Start with the ready-made Makers. They're designed to be straightforward. When you're ready, try the starter kits and Build-Alongs.
Do I have to come to the Friday sessions?
No. They're recorded, so you can watch whenever you like.
Is this just for business owners?
Not at all! We make things for business, but also for families, hobbies and everyday life.
Can I really make my own apps?
You can use AI tools to help make working apps and websites without writing code yourself. Some projects are more complicated than others, and you may need to experiment, troubleshoot, or pay for extra software or hosting. I'll show you how I approach it.
How much is it?
£99 a year, billed annually.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel future renewals. Your founding member price stays at £99 a year while you stay.
What happens to what I've made if I leave?
It's yours to keep. The things you've made keep working.
