Nope! Neither am I. That's the whole point of the club.
I'm 56. I'm not techie. I learned to do all of this out of necessity.
And I don't believe this is just for techie people, or young people. I'm actually wearing a hoodie as I write this, but this isn't for twenty-somethings in hoodies! It's for people like us.

But Isn't AI Bad?
Isn't it bad for the environment? Doesn't it steal things from people?
I've had really conflicted feelings about this.
My teenage daughter loathes AI with a passion because of the way it steals from creatives, and from other people generally. Not to mention its impact on the environment.
But AI isn't going anywhere. So we can embrace it, and use it for good.
I still wrestle with it. So in the club we use it carefully: our own work, never anyone else's, and for things that really help.
But I firmly believe that for all the bad things out there about it, we can use it as business owners and human beings to help other people through our businesses. And to make our lives easier.
The way we use it will not involve stealing. It's all about taking our own knowledge and our own ideas. Every starter kit comes with instructions that tell the AI to only use your own words, ideas and pictures, and never to copy anybody else's work.
It helped me when I had awful brain fog a couple of years ago. When I was paralysed by it, AI helped me get my thoughts straight, find strategies and ideas, and actually get moving again.
And here's the other thing. Big businesses and bad players are using AI for all the wrong reasons. Small businesses have it tough. We're playing on a field that isn't level. So if we can use AI to make our lives easier, grow our businesses and help people, then I feel like that's a good use of it.
So in the club, we're going to use it to make things for our businesses, for ourselves and for our families. To help us connect better. And to help us help other people better.

Do I need to know how to code?
Nope! That's the whole idea.
Will the things I make work on my website?
Yes! If your website lets you paste in a little bit of code, you just copy and paste it in. WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify and most others let you do that. Or you can share the link to it instead, in your emails and on social media. That works anywhere.
Will I have to pay for any software?
Nothing, if you don't want to! Every tool I make in the club is included in your membership. The advent calendar, the Spooky Hunt and everything that comes after: you fill in your words and pictures, and it's ready to use. No code. No AI. Nothing else to buy. If you'd like to build things yourself, I give you a starter kit for each one. It works in Claude, which costs $20 a month (about £18). That's the only paid tool I use, because the free version doesn't do the building bit. I love it because you can do so much more with it. I'll also be showing you things you can make in the free version of ChatGPT, and other free tools, so you can choose. And if you do pay for Claude, one extra sale a month from what you build would cover it.
